Alicorn Apothecary was born from lived experience — a mother’s determination, a daughter’s healing, and the unshakable belief that the body is designed to repair when given the right support. My clinical journey began inside the halls of a naturopathic clinic, learning medicine one bottle, one formulation, one patient story at a time. Twelve years of directing a natural medicinary, working side-by-side with a naturopathic physician, and walking families through illness and transformation shaped everything I now offer.

What I witnessed in her recovery — system by system coming back online, inflammation quieting, vitality returning — became the heartbeat of Alicorn.
Here, I blend clinical herbalism, food-allergy awareness, autoimmune experience, holistic aesthetics, and a deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence. My work is to bridge the gap between confusion and clarity, overwhelm and empowerment, symptoms and understanding.

Alicorn Apothecary was born long before there were shelves of tinctures or jars of herbs.
It began in 2009, when my oldest daughter fell suddenly and devastatingly ill.
Specialist after specialist, far too long with PHX Children's Hospital, medications, and a diagnosis that offered no real answers, I realized we were losing her quality of life — and that the path forward would require something different. Something deeper.
That moment became the catalyst.
I built a team of functional-minded doctors, consulted a retired physician specializing in LDN, dove into gut repair, food sensitivities, detoxification, underlying infections, and the root-cause model of healing. Layer by layer, system by system, she began to recover — and she has lived in non-medicated remission for over 15 years.
That experience lit the fire that became my life’s work.
Hungry for knowledge, I immersed myself in clinical herbalism, functional medicine principles, continuing education, seminars, apprenticeships, and thousands of hours behind the scenes.
Those years of study eventually led me to the naturopathic clinic where I spent over a decade directing the medicinary, compounding remedies, collaborating with a naturopathic physician, and serving countless patients in their healing journeys.
Alicorn Apothecary was shaped by every one of these moments.
My mission is rooted in what I learned the hard way:
the body is designed to heal, and plant medicine is one of the oldest, most powerful tools we have to support that process.
