Tinctures extract a wider range of constituents than water-based infusions and can last for many years if stored properly. They are generally more concentrated. They are absorbed into the bloodstream quickly, this is due to the alcohol base-which starts absorbing through the stomach wall and the mouth membranes upon taking. No digestion needed, the herbs are absorbed into the bloodstream and get to work!

Our small handmade batches of herbal syrups are a strong concentrated herbal decoction with local raw organic honey & alcohol (brandy).
Our concentrated herbal syrups are soothing & mucilaginous to benefit situations such as bronchial irritation, cough, dry irritated tissues, digestive issues, flu & naturally boost the immune system.
Syrups have the advantage of being sticky, which helps the medicine adhere to tissues longer than an infusion made with water.
Local raw organic honey soothes & coats irritated membranes & has been used since ancient times as medicine alone.
It’s amazingly antibacterial, anti-inflammatory & stimulates the healing process, rapidly clearing infection.
Honey as the sweetener, also helps to preserve the herbal extract. A little alcohol, such as brandy, is added to aid preservation.
